About The Position

Hardware Engineering, Test Solutions, includes all engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with every Raytheon product. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. The Space Test Solutions Department designs exquisite test systems for space payloads for the Department of War, NASA, NOAA and other organizations. We are multi-discipline and hands-on, designing the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. As part of the Space Test Solutions team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) design, development, build, integration, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and availability of our test systems. This position is 100% ONSITE in El Segundo, CA

Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Typically requires a minimum 2 years relevant experience
Experience with LabView and TestStand
Experience with product design lifecyle
Experience with Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand software as a developer
Experience validating test equipment
Experience creating test plans for test suite validation
Existing active Top Secret clearance
Experience working in a classified environment to include Special Access Programs
