About The Position

Bold, collaborative problem-solvers who thrive on results and innovation belong here. What You'll Do Lead stormwater and sewer projects from planning to construction. Manage programs, policies, and budgets while collaborating with City departments, agencies, and the community to protect waterways and neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Environmental, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years experience, including 5+ in green infrastructure or landscape architecture.
  • Proven project leadership and team management.

Nice To Haves

  • Municipal utility experience preferred.
  • National Floodplain Manager Certification (or within 12 months).
  • Indiana Pesticide & Fertilizer Applicator Certification Categories 5 & 6 (or within 12 months).
  • Indiana Professional Engineer License.
  • Valid Indiana Driver's License.
  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Illustrator.
  • Project management, stormwater modeling, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage watershed, floodplain, and Green Infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee capital projects: budgeting, permitting, design, construction, and post-construction monitoring.
  • Develop policies, strategic plans, KPIs, and service standards.
  • Represent the City in meetings and with stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor team members, managing workflow and performance.
