About The Position

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an Engineer II-Software Quality Assurance to join their team. This role involves defining and maintaining processes, templates, checklists, guidelines, and procedures in accordance with cybersecurity standards such as TISAX, IEC 62443-4-1 (Industrial Cybersecurity), and EU Regulations like the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The position requires interaction with the Information Security (IS) team to understand ISO 27001 compliant policies and procedures, ensuring their communication, implementation, and enforcement. Responsibilities include maintaining evidence and documentation for TISAX assessments, coordinating TISAX assessments with audit providers, performing site coordination for TISAX certification audits, conducting internal audits and management reviews, and ensuring readiness for reassessments and customer security reviews. Requirements

  • Master’s/bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 2.5 - 5 years of experience
  • Interest to deepen knowledge and skills in cybersecurity standards such as TISAX, IEC 62443-4-1 and EU Regulation Cyber Resilience ACT (CRA).
  • Good oral and written English skills
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as TISAX & IEC 62443-4-1 and EU Regulation such as Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) preferred

Responsibilities
