This role will assist in the execution of APQP practices within New Product Development; assisting and/or executing related deliverables, such as FMEA’s, Product Assurance Planning, CTQ’s, and Control Plans. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and validate CTQ attributes, owning documentation to support proper planning and execution of quality processes across assigned programs, and coordinating quality planning and leading risk analysis and mitigation activities during NPD. The role also includes partnering with and providing input to other quality functional teams during product development, conducting supplier assessments for assigned components, analyzing supplier capabilities, and supporting the development of DVP&R plans and test strategies with Design and Test Engineering. The position requires compliance with health and safety guidelines, protecting company reputation by keeping information confidential, and maintaining professional and technical knowledge. It also involves contributing to team efforts and participating in projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Quality
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of statistical tools
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix/cross-functional environment
  • Proficient in APQP methodologies, FMEAs, and Control Plans

  • Electromechanical and manufacturing operations experience
  • Experience with global suppliers

Responsibilities
