About The Position

This role involves active participation in major problem-solving projects and teams, including training ZF staff on advanced problem-solving tools and techniques. The position focuses on creating and improving data management systems to minimize risk, identifying potential projects and problem areas, and providing proactive support for critical projects or customer complaints. Additionally, the role supports the creation and preparation of training materials and other documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3-4 years of experience (internship/co-op included)
  • Proven ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proven creativity and analytical methods with a high-level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles and goals.
  • Understand and comply with Quality requirements such as automotive requirements.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and assess product quality to determine adequacy, capability, and ability to comply with customer specifications and company’s specifications.
  • Develop and maintain documents and procedures related to quality standards, risk analysis, lessons learned from product recalls, product audits, field returns and repairs, complaints, scrap, and rework, and retain documented information as evidence.
  • Interpret prints and measurement tools (GD&T).
  • Active work in problem solving in cooperation all Quality Engineers.
  • Working on top projects, project details and finalization of projects in cooperation with a defined team.
  • Support and creation of Training for basic and advanced Problem-Solving methodologies/, develop and motivate employees, creation and maintaining training material for PS methodologies.
  • Guidance to manufacturing personnel in the proper application of problem-solving methodology.
  • Creation and development of methodologies and templates for problem solving based on each specific customer request and requirement.
