About The Position

This role is for an Engineer II - Mech Plant who will not just support the business but help move it forward. The position involves leading initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality. The engineer will design and enhance mechanical systems, tooling, and equipment to support plant operations. A key aspect of the role is partnering closely with operators, maintenance, and leadership to solve real-time challenges on the floor. The position also drives continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, supports capital projects from concept through implementation, and promotes a strong safety culture. Additionally, the role involves developing and sharing knowledge by training and supporting team members, and helping to build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong relationships on the floor
• Motivated to take ownership and lead projects from start to finish
• Passionate about continuous improvement and learning

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lean
• Experience with Six Sigma
• Experience with SPC
• Experience with AutoCAD
