About The Position

This role involves developing software for autonomous mobile equipment in the agricultural and construction sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, agile team and use their creativity to develop code for machines, ranging from user interface to machine control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science or other specialties such as Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Physics, or Math
• Eight years of combined experience in Product Development and Autonomy.
• Software development skills in C++, Python, Matlab.
• Self-driven/enthusiastic/motivated to solve exciting engineering problems.
• Proficient in machine learning and AI.
• Basic knowledge of mission planning and IOT connectivity for autonomy devices.
• Working knowledge in working with vehicle autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate algorithms and tools for sensor fusion.
• Innovate and improve subsystems for mapping, localization, and object tracking for mobile equipment.
• Support the application of perception and vehicle planning with multi-body kinematics for Vermeer equipment.
• Develop data models and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and market dynamics to help plan product development.
• Collaborate on the creation of complex algorithms or software architectures.
