Responsible for performing functions associated with improving and controlling the current processes or products manufactured at SAS facilities. Work directly in with production tools or in a variety of support functions such as quality, systems, infrastructure technology, yield improvement, and more. Focus on acquiring field-related technical skills (Certifications, SOP, Systems). Build a basic understanding of equipment and/or processes. Work on problems of limited scope. Work on assignments requiring individual judgment on resolving day-to-day issues and/or making recommendations to higher-level Technicians and Engineers on the cause of issues and possible resolutions to problems. Manage limited projects generally between 1-3 months in duration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Requires completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving each of the following: 1.Root Cause Analysis; 2. Hardware and System maintenance; 3. Cybersecurity Awareness; 4. 3D Printing and Design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor); 5. Troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware; 6. Project Management; 7. Microsoft Office Suite (Documentation, Presentation and Reporting); 8. Experiment Design; and 9. Risk Management.
