Work in a high-volume 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing foundry environment producing microelectronic chips. Maintain processes and manufacturing equipment for the Diffusion Epitaxy group. Sustain operations by ensuring smooth functionality of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Develop and execute plans for process improvements and operational efficiency. Monitor and analyze data related to quality, cost, and throughput of manufacturing processes and equipment. Respond to manufacturing equipment errors and evaluate appropriate countermeasure actions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 6 months of experience involving the following: 1. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis; 2. Reviewing equipment designs; 3. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA); 4. Root Cause Analysis (RCA); 5. Fault Detection Categorization (FDC); 6. Design of Experiments (DOE); 7. JMP and Minitab for Statistical Modeling; 8. Excel (Power Query, VBA) for Engineering Applications; 9. MATLAB and Python for Engineering Analysis; 10. DMAIC Methodology; 11. CAD design: Creo Parametric 2.0, AutoCAD; 12. Project Management; and 13. Lean manufacturing: Kaizen, Kanban, JIT, Poka-Yoke, OEE, TPM, Gemba, KPI.
