About The Position

Engineer 1 function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting company assets.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent is required
• Ability to manage several tasks at once
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
• Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Drivers License
• Must be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in cold or warm temperatures
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds
• Must be able to see and, remember the specific details of incidents and persons
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
• Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service
• Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests
• Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English
• Need excellent interpersonal skills
• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• 1 to 2 years of prior security experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and fellow team members with a friendly and sincere welcome
• Continuously patrol the property to ensure that deficiencies are documented and submitted to the appropriate Property Engineering Department
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance, which reflects the professional appearance and demeanor
• Lamp replacement
• Fixture repair and replacement
• Circuit breaker reset
• Change AC filters
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Hotel Guest room repairs
• Respond to Maximo WO’s
• Keep daily logs
• Support events
• Meet the required attendance guidelines for the job and adhere to all company and department policies and procedures

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
