Engineer I
About The Position
Responds to facility maintenance service requests, performing routine repairs and troubleshooting on building systems. Maintains high service standards in clinical and public-facing areas, ensuring all repairs are performed with minimal disruption to patient care and hospital operations. Assists senior engineering staff in the preventative maintenance and operation of critical utility systems, including HVAC, emergency power, and medical gas distribution. Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document daily work orders, track inventory usage, and maintain accurate records of facility infrastructure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license with good driving record

- Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on a variety of hospital medical equipment according to established procedures.
- Inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, lubricating and repairing or replacing components.
- Documenting services rendered in a timely manner and according to professional standards.
- Assisting senior engineering staff in the preventative maintenance and operation of critical utility systems, including HVAC, emergency power, and medical gas distribution.
- Utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document daily work orders, track inventory usage, and maintain accurate records of facility infrastructure.
