About The Position

This role is responsible for planning, execution, real-time safety-of-flight and data quality monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of system integrations on various aviation weapon system platforms. The position also involves contributing to and documenting flight operations and flight test developments, as well as test project management for schedule and cost considerations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's in Engineering in a designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university.
• 0-3 years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft and/or aviation systems.
• 0-3 years of experience conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture desired.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Class III medical certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Intermediate knowledge of aircraft/aircraft systems (e.g., flight controls, displays, radar, comm/nav, etc.).
• Intermediate knowledge of test and evaluation experience.
• Intermediate competency with MS Office.
• Intermediate competency with programming.
• Intermediate competency with Matlab.
• Intermediate competency with Python.
• Intermediate competency with technical writing.
