About The Position

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for an early-career engineer who is eager to make an immediate impact. The engineer will be a core builder, translating requirements into working software and understanding the 'why' behind the development. Responsibilities include writing production code, writing tests, and helping features reach completion. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers for code reviews, technical challenges, and growth support. The engineer will contribute to building new features in the survey editor, migrating calculations to a dbt pipeline, and enhancing fielding systems against fraud. The company utilizes AI coding agents extensively and values practical skills over traditional credentials. Political experience is considered a plus. The role requires regular time in the Chicago office.
