About The Position

Freese and Nichols has opportunities for new graduates to launch their careers in Site Civil Design, which is part of the Urban Planning+Design Group. This role provides site civil support across multiple engineering practices within Freese and Nichols and for external clients. The position focuses on developing construction documents and performing calculations for various clients on projects including paving, dimensional control, stormwater systems, and grading.

Responsibilities

  • Develop construction documents and perform calculations for federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients.
  • Generate paving and dimensional control plans.
  • Perform stormwater system calculations and generate the plans and profiles.
  • Generate overall and detailed grading plans for projects.
  • Collect and correlate information to assist in completing projects.
  • Verify information and adjust data as needed.
  • Coordinate project efforts with others contributing to the project.
