We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to take on the critical role of developing and supporting rate production processes, resolving work stoppages, investigating the root cause of anomalies, conducting capacity analysis, mapping value streams, and designing production cells for continuous flow of product connected to customer demand. A background or knowledge of Lean Fundamentals is preferred. This position requires an understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to optimize workflows for enhanced efficiency. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions that drive productivity. The role will involve designing tools and fixtures that support production operations and improve the safety, ergonomics, and efficiency of value-creating work. The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
