EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
Experience with one or more of the following: Fluid Systems Analyses, Computation Fluid Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

Coursework in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
Experience with heat transfer
Experience analyzing data and identifying trends using defined metrics
Experience driving tasks or projects to completion within established deadlines
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

Responsibilities

Performing compressor aerodynamic analysis
Design of compressor aerodynamic features including airfoil and flow path shapes
Review and analysis of engine test data
Supporting closure of key technical issues
Working in teams with other engineers to improve technical capability
