As an Engineer, Health & Safety, you will be responsible for performing functions associated with improving and controlling the current processes or products manufactured at SAS facilities. You will prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks that support safety programs for an advanced semiconductor facility. Work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen our safety culture and improve hazard elimination. Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility. Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements. Evaluate task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements. Document and track results to support safety program elements. Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation. Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements. Conduct monthly meetings with safety subcommittee. Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures. Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility's preventative and corrective action plan.
