About The Position

Windsor Hospitality is seeking an Engineer Groundskeeper to join their team at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in San Luis Obispo, CA. This all-suite hotel is situated in the heart of California’s Central Coast, providing convenient access to downtown SLO, local wineries, and scenic hiking trails. The property is surrounded by rolling hills and is just minutes from the beach, offering a perfect base for guests. The primary purpose of this role is to repair and maintain the physical structure of the hotel using various tools, contributing to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintains hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.
Replaces air conditioner filters.
Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
May tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
Execution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time.
To ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to within a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.
Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
