Requirements
- Understanding of forensic science and methodologies for data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations pertaining to digital evidence and data privacy (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Skilled in various Cyber platforms and log telemetry
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux and network protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering, Information technology, Business Management or related field.
- 2- 5 years experience in related field required
Responsibilities
- Conducts thorough investigations into digital incidents and security breaches.
- Collection, analysis, and presentation of digital evidence to support legal proceedings and internal security measures.
- Ensuring digital evidence is collected in a manner that maintains its integrity and admissibility in court.
- Map threat intelligence information using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to align with real-world adversary tactics and techniques.
- Develop detection rules in Microsoft Sentinel to spot attacker behavior.
- Tune and reduce noise and false positives across Cyber tools such as MDE.
- Threat modeling to identify potential attack weaknesses.
- Validate coverage and effectiveness of tools and protections.
