About The Position

Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. The candidate will assist with software integration for a monitoring and control system aboard the FORD class ships. The applicant should be detail oriented, has a history of delivering high-quality products, technical acumen, an experienced technical writer, analytical and is capable of concisely communicating information to stakeholders. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects, facilitating meetings, takes ownership of assigned tasking, innovative, fosters a positive work environment, provides project status updates to stakeholders and assists with supplier management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
