About The Position
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position is with Newport News Shipbuilding, the largest industrial employer in Virginia and the sole designer, builder, and refueler of U.S. Navy nuclear aircraft carriers. The position is full-time, first shift, and not eligible for telework. Travel of 10%–25% is required. Relocation assistance is available. U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; or a master’s degree and 0 years of relevant professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
