About The Position

This position is with the Crane Engineering group. The group’s primary responsibility is to support the procurement, maintenance, and certification of lifting and handling equipment with a focus on developing and issuing technical instructions, electrical designs, and drawings needed to support maintenance. Candidates should be proficient in electrical design, troubleshooting and have familiarity with industrial controls, power distribution systems, and electrical codes and standards. This position will include occasional on-call duty, infrequent shift rotations, and weekend work as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program

Nice To Haves

Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, and power systems used in industrial machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Develops and issues technical instructions, electrical designs, and drawings needed to support maintenance of lifting and handling equipment.
