About The Position

This role involves developing, administering, and implementing environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. The Engineer monitors pollution prevention activities, compliance, and auditing efforts. They conduct studies and prepare environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes. The position requires reviewing and analyzing environmental documentation from federal EPA, state, and local regulatory agencies to determine the impact on company operations and publish compliance strategies and requirements. The Engineer will also evaluate proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public, and environmental impact, and interact with federal, state, and local regulators to resolve compliance issues, establish permit requirements, and assist in EPA, state, and local regulatory audits. Additionally, the role involves representing the company in government and industry rule-making activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with 2 years of experience or Master's Degree with 0 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical Engineer degree preferred.
