About The Position

The Engineer (E3) – High Mid is a Non-Key Personnel position supporting Team Blackwatchs NAVSEA PMS 470 (BBGN) Professional Support Services – N0016426R3120 contract, aligned to Task 1 – Logistics Support, HM&E/Combat Systems ILS technical assessment (SOW 4.1.3/4.1.4). This position is based in DC Metro Area and requires an active SECRET security clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • Minimum Relevant Experience: >7 years
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's level degree in any engineering discipline
  • Preferred Relevant Experience: 10 years
  • Preferred Specialized Experience: 7 years relevant professional experience in engineering

Responsibilities

  • Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.

  • In addition to design and development, many engineers work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality.
  • They also estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
