About The Position

Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company, is hiring a Level 2 Engineer, Data Platform for its Technology & Information Systems team. The role focuses on building, owning, and improving data platforms and integrations that support the business. The engineer will primarily use Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Python, and cloud-based data services to ingest, model, transform, test, and maintain business data. The position involves designing dimensional models, maintaining pipeline quality and performance, and working with business stakeholders to turn questions into reliable data products. At Level 2, the engineer works independently on standard tasks, owns work from requirements through release, and helps onboard newer engineers. The position is full-time and exempt, based in the Louisville, Colorado office, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week onsite. Employees also attend an annual company-wide in-person staff week and an additional department-scheduled in-office week each year. Standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time. Additional hours may be required as needed to achieve goals and support business needs. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with a modern data stack, ownership of problems, strong organizational and communication skills, and an ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The role supports Nat Hab’s mission to connect people with nature and inspire conservation through travel.
