About The Position

The Cyber Security Cloud Engineer is a key member of the Information Security Engineering team and is responsible for providing expert support to the Information Security Architect on secure design and implementation. The Cyber Security Cloud Engineer is highly skilled with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. This engineer leads to the design, deployment, and integration of a new GCP & Azure environment that seamlessly connects into our existing backbone. This is a critical role that will shape the future of our AI hybrid cloud infrastructure and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or 4 years' work related experience in the field of computer science, information sciences Required
  • 3 years, experience within information security engineering or architecture, cloud engineering Required
  • Certified IS Security Professional - Certification in One or more of the following - CISSP, CEH, CCNP, GSEC, GCIH, GPEN, GCIA, OSCP Required

Nice To Haves

  • 7 years, of background in information security engineering or architecture, cloud engineering Preferred
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy security configuration withing GCP and Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with IT, Enterprise Architecture and application teams to ensure cloud environments meet compliance and security standards across our Ecosystem.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for security and compliance.
  • Evaluate and recommend GCP, Azure, and third-party tools to optimize security and compliance.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring, and training to junior Security team staff.
  • Implement and monitor cloud-native security controls.
  • Provide expert analytic investigative support of large scale and complex security incidents.
  • Map compliance requirements and enforce regulatory controls.
  • Respond to and remediate cloud security incidents.
  • Automation of security controls and integration with CI/CD pipelines
  • Document best practices using available collaboration tools and workspaces.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
