About The Position

At Jabil (NYSE: JBL), a global manufacturing solutions provider with 60 years of experience and over 100 sites worldwide, this Engineer Change Coordinator (ECN) position is located in Florence, KY (CVG 300). Jabil is committed to building sustainable processes and fostering diverse communities. The role operates on a night shift schedule: Sunday to Tuesday or Sunday to Wednesday, from 6pm to 6am.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform BOM usage change requests from planning.
  • Conduct Server-side build readiness sign off – BOM verification.
  • Conduct Rack side: BOM verification, CRD locations – Power Bi Dashboard
  • Conduct Purge in case of validation, once the firmware/software deleted from the BOM, sweep across the floor to complete the conversion/teardown/rework.
  • Maintain and monitor Validation tracker and EC checklist sign off (Not impact analysis) follow up – pending tasks and escalation.
  • Scrub BOM files to BU team for costing.
  • Provide support to shop floor team related to BOM implementation related to components and cross functional support.
  • Verify and create ECN cases based on customer RCOs within SAP
  • Communicate with internal and customer component engineering teams, suppliers and vendors regarding qualification requirements, component changes, supporting documents and deadlines.
  • Exchange current information to production site Work cell.
  • Reassign cases to customer New Product Introduction Engineer (NPIE) as required.
  • Track customer ECN cases for schedule in conjunction with overall MCN process and priority.
  • Track and communicate ECN status with customer E-NPIE on daily basis.
  • Generate and track deviations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on qualification status with Production site.
  • Track “End of Life” activities created by customer ECN load and verify customer Bill of Material.
  • Generate weekly reports and present to customer Engineering in detail using tools such but not limited to as charts, graphs and presentations as required by business unit.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
