The Engineer is involved with the construction engineering asscoiated with the construction of municipal infrastructure, highways, railways, transit systems, harbors, bridges, and tunnels. The position reports to a Senior Engineer. The Engineer must be a team player and support various deparments by applying engineering principles.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals, structural and soil mechanics.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Ability to use the selected software such as RISA 3D, MathCAD, Autodesk Products, MS Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and check calculations and drawings
• Supervise AutoCAD operators to prepare drawings
• Work closely with field engineers or estimators on design works
• Attend meetings with clients and Engineers to discuss design issues
• Visit project sites if different field condition issues arise
