About The Position

The Engineer Associate I will perform basic engineering duties associated with construction, structural, water resources, or civil engineering projects for DB Sterlin. This individual will support all aspects of design projects for roadways, utilities, sewers, and bridges, prepare schematics and models, and perform analysis and engineering calculations. Additionally, this role will support the development of plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as the preparation of technical engineering reports and the performance of construction management for various projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in engineering.
Typically 0 to 3 years of experience.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Spatial and design skills to visualize projects in 2D and 3D.
Entry-level engineering skills to compliment position goal.
Basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Bluebeam, and CADD software, specifically the Bentley Suite of products including Open Roads Designer, ProjectWise and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Must be able to sit, walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop or kneel, climb, or balance, talk, or hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects tools or control.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Must possess a valid license.

Nice To Haves

Engineer-in-Training Certificate (Preferred).
Basic knowledge of local agency standards preferred.
