About The Position
Rocket Lab is hosting a hiring event at its Wallops Island Launch Complex for engineers and technicians at all levels. This event offers a unique opportunity to tour the launchpad facility, have lunch with engineering teams and leaders, and conduct one-on-one interviews with department leaders. Non-local candidates will receive travel accommodations if selected. Candidates will receive expedited consideration, with potential for same-day offer decisions. Complementary food and beverages will be provided during this half-day event. We are seeking individuals with experience in Testing (Vehicle, Avionics, Launch Pad), Ground Systems Engineering, Vehicle Integration Engineering, Mechanical Technicians, Senior Vehicle Integration and Test Technicians, Fluids, and Propulsion. The role involves impacting programs like Neutron, a medium-lift launch vehicle designed for mega constellations, high-assurance payloads, and human spaceflight, emphasizing reusability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar discipline
- Experience in the assembly and testing of launch vehicle fluid systems including pneumatic, cryogenic, electrical, and others
- Technical experience in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering environment
- Hands-on experience proactively identifying and solving systemic multifaceted problems in complex manufacturing systems
- Ability to effectively deliver on multiple complex multifaceted assignments simultaneously with autonomy
Responsibilities
