Job Summary Responsible for translating code into user-friendly applications. Collaborates with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications while working in a fast-paced environment. Develops application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality while keeping up to date with terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps. Works under general supervision and may require training and detailed instructions for assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support software coding and testing of Android/IOS mobile software.
  • Design new software, support applications under development, design the prototype application and customizes current applications.
  • Build native mobile applications with an understanding of accessibility, localization, and offline needs.
  • Create, maintain, and implement the source code that makes up the application or program.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on code to validate front-end, middleware, and database systems.
  • Deliver documentation on the software development and implementation process.
  • Research and analyze technical references to obtain knowledge and gain exposure on the latest developments in technology.
  • Research, write, and edit documentation, and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical documentation.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
