About The Position

Under the direction of management, this position exercises responsibility for the execution of Engineering strategies and tactical plans at (HIAMS)AM sites. It develops priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team and oversees implementation. The position serves as a corporate resource to all Engineering staff and management teams at all sites, exercising independent judgment routinely and operating within established guidelines. Under direct supervision, assists higher level Engineers with the design, plan and project coordination by performing any combination of or all essential duties and responsibilities assigned. Develops, evaluates, and improves methods while emphasizing the implementation of quality, efficiency, process, costing, and equipment improvements. Observes and assists higher level Engineers in resolving problematic issues related to specific areas of technology, equipment and processes. Confers with appropriate departments to ensure efficient and effective review and implementation for completed job tasks. Contacts vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Must be able to apply technical theory and other acquired knowledge to resolve technical problems. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to draw, read and interpret schematics.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field
  • Less than 3 years prior related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
