About The Position

Install marine engines and related systems in boats, ensuring proper alignment and integration with the vessel’s operational. Responsible for installing cabinets, floors, cockpits, benches, and any other installation tasks as assigned.

Requirements

2- 3 years of manufacturing experience, engine instillation or boat building experience preferred
Working knowledge of hand tools
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Ability to multi-task
Ability to read and understand prints and production schedules.
Ability to work with suspended loads and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic checks and tests to ensure engines are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Connect electrical systems, fuel lines, and cooling systems, ensuring all components work harmoniously.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal engine performance.
Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety compliance to include PPE adherence, safety policy adherence, and safe behaviors and conditions.
Must possess the desire and ambition to always work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.
Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
