About The Position

Netwoven is seeking an experienced Technical Engagement Manager who can blend project leadership, deep technical oversight, and architectural solutioning across the Microsoft Cloud. This role merges the strongest elements of traditional Engagement Manager responsibilities, including M365 collaboration, intranet, and migration leadership, with expanded modern requirements in Azure architecture, security, identity, governance, and cloud transformation. The successful candidate will partner with technical leads, architects, developers, offshore teams, and customer executives to deliver end-to-end cloud and security programs while serving as a trusted technical advisor. This position is 100% remote.

Requirements

  • Entra ID architecture, Conditional Access, PIM, identity governance, lifecycle workflows.
  • Microsoft Defender Suite: Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Email.
  • Zero Trust, compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST), security posture management
  • Azure Landing Zones, governance, and resource architecture.
  • Azure Networking, Compute, Storage, App Services.
  • Application modernization and microservices architecture.
  • Identity integrations (Entra Connect, Cloud Sync) and hybrid identity.
  • SharePoint Online architecture, IA, governance, and content lifecycle.
  • Teams governance, lifecycle management, information protection.
  • Exchange Online migrations (on‑prem and tenant‑to‑tenant).
  • Intune / Endpoint Manager, Modern Desktop, and Windows 365.
  • 7–10+ years in technical consulting, architecture, or cloud solution delivery.
  • Proven experience managing global delivery teams (US + India offshore).
  • Demonstrated success delivering multi‑phase cloud transformation programs.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and relationship management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Security engagements.
  • Background in solution architecture, technical PM, or pre‑sales engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight across Azure, Microsoft 365, and Security workloads.
  • Review and validate architecture diagrams, deployment plans, design documents, and technical deliverables.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and translate business needs into actionable architecture and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment with Microsoft reference architectures, Zero Trust principles, governance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
  • Guide technical leads on solution patterns, integration approaches, and cross‑workload dependencies.
  • Lead design and delivery of digital experiences including intranets, collaboration portals, extranets, and content services.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 and SharePoint architecture, governance, information architecture, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead tenant migrations, consolidations, merges, and splits resulting from acquisitions or divestitures.
  • Guide digital transformation projects for customers moving from Google Workspace, Slack, Jive, or on‑premises SharePoint to Microsoft 365
  • Oversee implementations of Conditional Access, Entra ID governance, PIM, lifecycle workflows, and identity integrations.
  • Provide technical direction for the Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Email).
  • Support security posture improvement initiatives aligned with frameworks such as CIS and NIST.
  • Guide delivery of Azure‑based solutions including application modernization, microservices, and cloud-native workloads.
  • Ensure adherence to Azure landing zone principles, governance standards, and cloud networking best practices.
  • Oversee identity integrations such as Azure AD Connect and Entra Cloud Sync
  • Lead multi‑workstream programs combining Modern Work, Security, and Azure delivery.
  • Manage scope, risks, financials, timelines, resourcing, and offshore coordination.
  • Serve as the primary technical and delivery point of contact for clients.
  • Conduct executive status reviews, steering committee briefings, and roadmap sessions.
  • Ensure project documentation, SOW compliance, and reporting meet consulting standards.
