About The Position

ASI Government is seeking a smart, curious, and driven Engagement Lead to partner with a Navy client, specifically NAVSUP, to help them solve challenging problems related to acquisition reform. The Engagement Lead will be the senior accountable leader for the successful execution of a complex Navy client engagement. This role involves serving as the primary interface with client leadership, ensuring alignment of workstreams to program priorities, contract requirements, quality standards, and measurable operational results. The ideal candidate will combine NAVSUP mission understanding, executive client presence, delivery discipline, and the ability to translate trusted relationships into sustained impact and growth. This is an Individual Contributor role initially, with the potential to grow a team over time.

Requirements

  • Current and Active DOD/DOW TS/SCI
  • 8+ years leading complex Navy programs, engagements, or mission-support initiatives, ideally for NAVSUP clients
  • Demonstrated success serving as a senior client-facing leader on high-visibility federal engagements
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in dynamic, matrixed environments
  • Strong understanding of Navy operations, industrial base, acquisition, modernization, logistics, readiness, or other relevant mission areas
  • Experience identifying and shaping follow-on work through client trust and performance credibility
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with contract performance management, staffing strategy, and financial oversight
  • Able to work on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for NAVSUP client leadership.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with government stakeholders across the engagement.
  • Provide strategic advice, issue resolution, and actionable recommendations aligned to mission priorities.
  • Lead executive meetings, status reviews, decision forums, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Oversee execution of all contract tasks, deliverables, and workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment of scope, schedule, staffing, quality, and budget across the engagement.
  • Establish and maintain delivery, governance, performance tracking, and escalation mechanisms.
  • Drive resolution of complex delivery, stakeholder, and operational issues.
  • Monitor contract performance, burn, margin, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation or corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, reporting obligations, and internal management expectations.
  • Support program reviews and executive decision-making with accurate, timely data.
  • Identify follow-on opportunities, adjacent needs, and strategic issues that can be addressed through trusted delivery.
  • Partner with growth and capture teams on on-contract growth, option years, recompete planning, and targeted new work.
  • Contribute client insight and engagement strategy to proposals and account planning.
  • Help position the firm as a long-term strategic partner to the Navy client.
