About The Position

As part of EY's Enterprise Support Services team, you’ll be an integral part of the business enablement functions that keep the organization running strong. You’ll use your interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with employees at all levels. As an Executive Assistant, you’ll work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to its clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. The opportunity: As an Engagement Executive Assistant (EEA), you’ll provide high-level, functionally specialized administrative support specifically to an engagement(s) and in most cases at the engagement site. The work of the EEA is closely aligned and integrated with the specialized needs, operations, strategies and business objectives of the engagement. As the EEA, you will collect, analyze and disseminate data and recommendations, and work within established deadlines to handle projects directly or coordinate through others. You’ll interface extensively with internal/external clients to develop strong working relationships. Your assignments will vary based on the scope and size of the engagement and will frequently be specialized or complex in nature.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years+ of relevant experience
  • 4+ years of relevant business experience or combined no less than 2 years relevant experience and associates or higher degree
  • Flexibility to work overtime, after hours and travel as required
  • Will work regularly at a client site (non-EY facility) and onsite in the EY office (or meeting site as determined)
  • Highly skilled attention to detail and self-assurance of quality of work performed or reviewed
  • Advanced written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, diplomacy, teaming skills in direct or virtual setting
  • Sophisticated and specialized knowledge sharing and collaboration skills
  • Mastery of applicable firm, service line, and engagement/practice-specific technology application/tools
  • Advanced understanding and application of firm policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Copilot and SharePoint
  • Leverage tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini or similar to optimize product performance and service delivery.
  • Highly skilled at navigating organizational structures, changing environments, and sensitive relationships
  • Apply leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Possess strong knowledge of the types of services and operational activities of the engagement, practice group, or service line and related clients/industries
  • Leverage strong working knowledge of applicable firm and service line quality, risk and confidentiality policies and guidelines in daily business operations, including confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Act as the administrative liaison for the operations of large accounts, engagements or assigned practice leader(s) and with senior management and clients/colleagues to facilitate work
  • Work regularly at client site (non-EY facility) and/or in the EY office for EY specialty practice-specific role requiring on-site presence, including at a meeting or agency facility
  • Cultivate relationships and collaborate with internal/external business leaders and their assistants at a level to complete support activities, achieve results and resolve issues
  • Organize and manage complex calendars, travel and meetings for leaders, account or engagement teams using firm tools
  • Independently compose, format, and edit non-technical business documents from draft stage to client-ready work, skilfully using firm templates, branding and correspondence guidelines.
  • Protect confidential internal or engagement materials
  • Demonstrate knowledge and reinforce compliance with firm and service line record retention policies
  • Coordinate internal and external events, in compliance with meeting and events policy and process
  • Assist with Risk Management (RM) and independence compliance, practice specific tools, engagement/practice economics processes, licensing and CPE
  • Collaborate with applicable finance personnel for engagement/practice finance matters
  • Make decisions based on clear guidelines, procedures and instructions requiring occasional judgement to choose the correct answer/approach based on well-defined choices
  • Demonstrate judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Pull reports specific to account, practice or industry as requested
  • Attuned to and proactively escalate identified or potential issues regarding quality, confidentiality or risk
  • Effectively manage conflicting priorities, problem solve, organize workflow, anticipate customer needs and independently leverage alternative resources to achieve optimal operational excellence
