About The Position
Sustaining Engineering (SE) is a cornerstone of the $2B Global Fire business, playing a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the performance, reliability, and compliance of existing products. As the backbone of operational continuity, SE is directly responsible for supporting over 75% of the total Global Fire revenues, making it essential to the business’s ongoing success. With a portfolio exceeding 17,000 SKUs, SE ensures that each product remains viable in the market by managing lifecycle updates, addressing quality issues, and implementing cost-saving improvements. At Honeywell, Engineering Technicians play a critical role in developing and supporting our product development tasks while assisting our engineers to drive verifications and compliance testing. You will have a direct impact on the success of our SE projects by providing essential technical support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and this full-time position is located in our Northford, CT location.
