About The Position

This role is for a Senior Principal II Hardware Engineer to join the CES Group and help the Transition to Production, Production Support and Sustainment team. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms. Activities day to day will vary and may include: Assessing design updates to existing Electrical designs Delegating tasks to less experienced engineers and technicians Technical management of subcontractors Working with hardware suppliers Supporting product yield and affordability improvements Supporting production issues in assembly, test/debug, quality and managing overall workload of the HW team supporting production Working in partnership with a cross-functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter. Requirements

  • An Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years’ experience working on power and digital products preferably in the defense industry
  • Power: Expertise in Filters, Power Supplies with topologies such as Buck-Boost, amplifiers, sequencing, high-side switching, etc.
  • Analog: Expertise in design and debug of ops amps, A/D, analog, PLL circuits.
  • Expertise is regulatory testing including ESD, Lightning and grounding.
  • Expertise in simulation including LT Spice, Power Integrity analysis.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex EW systems
  • Experience supporting a production environment
  • Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Active or previously held Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans
