About The Position
Our Systems Engineering group is a high-performance technical organization comprised of Electronic Attack (EA) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with backgrounds spanning the Engineering Disciplines. The focus of our group is to provide customers a wide range of services and products acting as the Center of Excellence for EA solutions. Software / Firmware engineers encouraged! Thinking about transitioning to a Systems Role? We support this and will guide your success. Some of our best SE’s have SW/FW backgrounds in EW. Most important is a success driven mentality. RADAR engineers also encouraged! Understanding RADAR is paramount to our Electronic Attack Capability. We welcome all those who have big ideas, crave innovation, and want to develop, build and work on the world’s most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems – detecting, locating and countering threats for joint and international aircrew. Requirements
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science and 6 years of work experience.
- Experience with offensive (stand-off/escort) and/or defensive (self-protection) EA systems.
- EW system design knowledge as it relates to the detection and countering of radar and missile system engagements.
- Experience with EA/ESM system architectures.
- Experience with systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
Nice To Haves
- M.S. in either Systems, Software, or Electrical Engineering.
- Functional Management experience (e.g.., performance management, staffing).
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Understand radar signal processing techniques.
- Understand radar operation and employment.
- Understand digital signal processing concepts including FFT and DRFM.
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
Responsibilities
- Developing new EA capabilities for application in EW systems
- Developing and managing systems level requirements
- Developing operational systems concepts
- Performing system architecture trade studies
- Originating design concepts or performing systems level integration and test for highly complex systems
- Preparing and/or delivering basic customer and technical presentations
