About The Position

You'll champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects, and you'll identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements. Requirements

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering or related discipline with 2-3 years experience in manufacturing
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental lines
• Highly organized and proficient in project management
• Proven ability to motivate and influence teammates to drive organizational change
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting to leadership
• BS in Industrial Engineering or related discipline with 4-5 years’ experience in manufacturing, or in absence of degree 8 years’ experience.
• Experience with LEAN practices and projects utilizing the following LEAN tools VSM 6S Problem Solving 8 Waste
• Experience utilizing project management tools (KPI fire or similar).ar).

Responsibilities

• Use accepted industrial engineering and accounting principles to develop, implement, and maintain total manufacturing standards.
• Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to assist operations in meeting strategic objectives.
• Lead Kaizen events and projects to support company goals and objectives
• Enact quality control procedures to resolve productivity flow problems or minimize cost.
• Drive sustained improvements through the utilization of Continuous Improvement techniques: process flows, operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Assist in determining optimal shop floor layouts, product flow strategies, assembly methods, ergonomics, material handling, etc.
• Perform time and motion studies to develop standards for labor utilizationon.
