This is a field role supporting the Pottsville, PA area. We are looking for an eager individual to join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers. No prior experience needed. This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment. DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or GED
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
- Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
- Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
- Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe
- Assist with job site set up and tear down
