We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician II. You will install energy efficiency measures to reduce consumer energy bills for various utility and weatherization programs within a defined territory. This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass pre-employment checks
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the residential construction industry is preferred, will train the right candidate for the job

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
• Ensure measures installed are to program guidelines
• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe
• Assist with customer site job set up and tear down
