Requirements

  • High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or related experience and/or training is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • The ability to sit, stand, stoop, crawl, climb, crouch balance kneel, walk, and work on a cash register for a prolonged period of time is required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, lift, push or pull up to 100-pounds of weight at any one given time is essential.
  • Comfortable working around and being exposed to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals is required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with a customer service focus.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Strong business acumen including time management, planning, organization and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Performing inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Performing tire services and general maintenance
  • Obtaining a forklift certification
  • Filling and handling propane cylinders
  • Recording sales transactions
  • Receiving payments for services and/or products
  • Greeting customers in a friendly manner assisting with finding merchandise or services
  • Promoting the CPI business, programs, and products that are offered
  • Stocking shelves, displays and service items
  • Performing housekeeping duties both inside and outside of the facility
  • Aiding the Energy Division with accounting functions along with monthly accounting inventories and other reports
