About The Position

As an Energy Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to your clients—building relationships, solving problems, and helping organizations operate more efficiently. While experience in energy management is helpful, it isn't required. We provide the training; your communication skills, initiative, and ability to influence positive change are what matter most. If you enjoy working independently, building relationships, and making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Energy management experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with assigned client contacts.
  • Conduct routine site visits to evaluate facility operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor energy performance using company tools and reporting systems.
  • Analyze trends and recommend practical, cost-saving solutions.
  • Partner with facility teams and leadership to implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Document observations, activities, and recommendations accurately.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to ensure continued success.
  • Represent Cenergistic professionally while delivering exceptional client service.
