About The Position

AGRILAND FS, a financially strong and dependable cooperative serving customers in southern Iowa, eastern Nebraska, and northern Missouri, is looking for a high energy, self-starting sales-person to implement marketing activities and increase sales of Petroleum products and Propane to commercial, farm and home accounts.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong communication, persuasive and business skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work beyond normal business hours
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to form fast and strong business relationships
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience selling value added products

Responsibilities

  • Utilize target marketing, company established sales techniques and contact management system when calling on patrons and prospects
  • Prepare proposals & price quotes, explain credit terms, prepare sales agreements for orders obtained and develop customer service plans
  • Provide technical product information to customers to earn business
  • Plan risk management strategies with targeted energy accounts
