The Energy & Risk Management Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance across new residential construction projects. This position is responsible for conducting detailed home energy audits and risk management inspections in accordance with RESNET/Energy Star New Construction Guidelines, as well as company and regulatory standards. In this position, you will perform field inspections throughout multiple phases of construction, from footings and framing to final turnover, verifying that energy-efficient materials, assemblies, and installation practices meet required specifications. Utilizing specialized equipment, the role includes conducting performance testing such as blower door, duct leakage, ventilation, and pressure testing. Collaborating closely with builders and field operations teams, this position will ensure project milestones are achieved, documentation is complete, and client satisfaction remains high. This role demands a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge of residential construction, HVAC systems, and building science. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and adaptable, capable of working independently while maintaining strong communication with clients and team members.
