About The Position

Lamp Rynearson, a leading civil engineering consulting firm and a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a collaborative and creative Energy Project Manager for its growing Fort Collins, CO office. This role is a leadership position within the design team, focusing on energy-related projects, particularly oil and gas permitting, project design, and coordination. The position involves all aspects of oil and gas, solar, and other energy projects, including design decisions, client communication, and the creation of plans, permits, and reports. The company emphasizes a work environment where dedication and experience are valued, with management focused on employee well-being and advancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • 4 or more years of experience in Colorado OR 8 - 10 years minimum of related skills and experience in the Oil and Gas field.
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro.
  • Ability to work well with, coach and direct others with different personalities and professional styles.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Knowledge of business fundamentals, including project control and client relations.
  • General knowledge of preparing proposals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong quality control skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead energy-related projects with an emphasis on oil and gas permitting, project design, and coordination.
  • Be involved in all aspects of oil and gas, solar, and other energy related projects.
  • Make design decisions.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Craft plans, permits, and reports.
  • Plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations.
