About The Position

Marsh is seeking candidates for our open Energy & Power Property Associate Advisor – Digital Infrastructure position based in our New York, Houston OR Los Angeles offices. Associate Client Advisor. Becoming a member of Marsh's best in class Power & Energy team who delivers expert broking & strategy solutions to help manage risk with confidence. In this Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients. Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients. Completes policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary. Delivers technical expertise in the delivery and presentation of RFP’s. Work with various Energy Property Insurance markets to place Marsh clients with for best terms and conditions available in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years Property Commercial Experience, & Energy & Power experience preferred
  • P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
  • Bachelors' degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Acts as lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business.
  • Develop renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement, Advisory Leader and Client Executive and executes in accordance with client instructions.
  • Analyzes quotes from carriers and provides analysis to more senior Advisory colleagues and/or clients to assist with developing solutions and renewals.
  • Supports more senior Advisory colleagues to reach business goals and RFP’s through research and document preparation to support and assist the design, development, and marketing of new insurance and risk products.
  • Manages follow-up on coverage changes with underwriters to ensure the coverage specifications are correct.
  • Builds and maintains client and market contact at appropriate levels to execute effectively on client’s program.
