This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Candidates may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university. EEA’s Energy Team is seeking an Energy Policy Intern for the fall! The internship will primarily involve supporting two important initiatives of the team: the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Coordinating Council and the development of a guide for municipal governments on best practices for data center development planning. The intern will also develop communications materials to help educate the public on state energy policy programs and support the team with administrative tasks. Through this internship, the intern will gain experience in state energy policy, clean energy planning, policy research, stakeholder engagement, administration, and public communications while developing a deeper understanding of how state government advances and implements clean energy initiatives. We are happy to work with students who would like to pursue research funding opportunities they have identified from their universities for this position.
