This Energy Efficiency Consultant (EEC) role supports Eversource’s Residential Home Energy Performance Program (HEP) and Residential New Construction (RNC) programs. The position focuses on helping customers and market partners realize the benefits of energy efficiency, including improved affordability, enhanced building performance, and market transformation. The EEC will assist customers with home energy assessments, weatherization, and incentive programs, and promote high-performance building practices in new construction. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, vendors, NHSaves utilities, and external stakeholders to support program delivery, participation, and continuous improvement. For the RNC program, the EEC works with builders, developers, architects, and HERS raters to incorporate efficiency measures early in the design phase, supporting ENERGY STAR® Homes and above-code programs. For the HEP program, the EEC works with homeowners and contractors to identify cost-effective weatherization measures and other efficiency opportunities, promoting whole-home performance approaches and ensuring projects meet program standards. The role aims to increase participation, enhance customer experience, improve energy savings, and transform the residential housing stock.
